Your payment responsibilities may depend on your agreement and the arrangements made by your local authority. If you are unsure what you need to pay, please contact Theori or your council before making any payment.
Paying rent on time helps support the provision and maintenance of homes and is an important part of your tenancy. Keeping your rent account up to date helps protect your tenancy and prevents unnecessary rent arrears from building up.
We understand that circumstances can change unexpectedly. If you are experiencing financial difficulties or think you may struggle to make a payment, please get in touch as soon as possible. Talking to us early gives us the best opportunity to provide advice and support before the situation becomes more serious.
How to Pay Your Rent
There are several ways you can make rent payments:
Standing Order
A standing order can be set up directly with your bank, either online, through a banking app or by contacting your bank branch.
Bank Transfer
You can make payments directly from your bank account using online or mobile banking.
Debit Card by Phone
To make a payment over the phone using your debit card, call 020 8988 1091 between 9:00am and 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.
Universal Credit and Housing Benefit
If your rent is paid in full or in part through benefits, it is important to keep your claim up to date and notify the relevant authority of any changes in your circumstances. This will help avoid interruptions to your payments.
Online Payments
You can also pay your rent quickly and securely through your online account.
