Nicola joined MFT in October 2024 as a Community Connector, after working as a social prescriber for five years with a wellbeing service. Nicola has a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Psychology as well as training in motivational interviewing, counselling and cognitive behaviour therapy.

She works alongside a network for GP practices in Leatherhead as a Community Connector. Her role includes using a patient centre approach to supporting their wellbeing by helping them identify factors effecting their mental health. Then signposting toward information and services that can support their journey.

To maintain her own wellbeing, Nicola loves to spend time with friends, family and their dogs. She enjoys listening to music, reading and the occasional puzzle. She plays hockey on the weekends and is always up for a good walk.
